The Charge

Last session, the party finally arrived at the location of the ritual. In the distance, the party is able to see the Emperor's forces: Fallen, Humanoid soldiers and even dragons. The party rally their forces in front of the battlefield agreeing to most of their captain's suggested allocation of forces. And so, they charged ahead. Immediately, chaos began to ensue as unexpected elements began to crop up. False allies, mind control, unexpected reinforcement. The party had to decide who to send off to assist in the assault leaving the group smaller and smaller. Kitiara, Oleia and Kalista was sent off to deal with this problem. Finally, upon reaching the wall, the party had to split up to disable to wall's protective barrier so that they may enter. The party went inside while Sorro defended the group that is attacking the ritual caster which led to her losing her life. After a failed revivification, the party pushed on deeper with 8 remaining party members.
