The Future

Last session, the party was ready to plane shift out of the ark when the hear someone calling out to them. The voice calls out to Akaal, asking if he can hear it. Chasing after the voice led the party to a storm inside this void that is swirling the shards of glass shards all around.

The party pushed through the storm to get to the center. As they get closer and closer to the heart of the storm, the party was shown visions of possible futures. Kitiara on training with Xos and Arashi, J-5 becoming one of the world leader, Akaal becoming a leader of a secret organization, Ignis getting married and Kaine just living life.

As they reached the center, the party used an adamantite tower that Akaal had to act as a barrier as they push through. Arriving an a desolate battlefield with a crack in reality at the center. Shadows that was working to repair the crack transform into alternate versions of the party to stop them from approaching.

While the rest of the party is trying to stop the shadows from repairing the crack, Akaal manage to slip through the crack to meet his father or at least, an apparition of him. He instructed Akaal to look for the necklace of a broken sword that he wore. The item will help Akaal find pieces of him. With that, the two said their goodbyes and the party got out of there with a plane shift.
