Welcome to the End

Last session, the party resued the clandestine team and began making their way towards the final Artifact. The item is stored in a secure room that fills with sleeping gas the moment it is removed from its place. Through some clever maneuver and use of spells, the party was able to escape with their lives. They returned home for much needed R&R. The clandestine team was debriefed and that was how the party found out the underwhelming amount of soldiers the empire brought to their side. And after some research, the party was able to find a teleportation circle near the location of the Emperor's ritual. As the day grows late, each decided to spend their last hours tonight in their own way. J-5 reconciled with Fenton, talking about the past and the people they have lost along the way. Kaine was asked by Vivian if writing a book is the best way to spend the present when there are people out there waiting for him. Finally, Ignis spent some time alone with family. She and Rex talked about the future that they will have together. The night comes to a close and an earthquake signifies the ritual coming to an end. The next day, the C-ASS-tle was hectic, filled with people organising the teleportation to the battlefield. The party travelled ahead and arrived at the location of the final battle between the Twelve and the Beast from Far Beyond: The Black Crater.
