Misdirection

Last session, the party was trapped inside a demiplane created by the Deitrichs. After exploring the mansion for a while, it was clear that the manor did not have anything important beyond being the place where the ritual took place.

Upon dispelling the manor, the party split up once more. Ignis flew overhead to find Karlotta while the rest worked on a device that could scramble any signals to remotely detonate the bomb. However, as Ignis flew over the lava fields, she would notice an incomplete Blue Rose bomb sinking into the lava.

When the party regroups, it was already late and they were unsure of the plan that the Deitrich had concoted. The dubious level of safety made Inferno decide to delay the peace summit and to evacuate the city.

The party, not wanting to give up, decided to confront the Deitrich properly and teleported all the way to Makx. There, they saw an army of undead congregating, preparing for something. Talking to Karlotta yields nothing as she avoids answering the truth. However, that was when Kristoff opened up a portal connected to Pakau Defense.
