Emperor Baldur

Last session, the party met Emperor Baldur in his bedroom observing a Fallen woman. The party engaged in a dialogue, blaming each other for starting the current hostility between them. In the end, both sides wants these battles to stop. The party proposes that both groups remain neutral with each other and freely share any knowledge they have with each other.

The party started by letting the Emperor know about the Twelve splitting the Beast into 18 parts and the Emperor shared that his group has been using the power of Fallens to empower themselves. This lead the party to believe that the Emperor might be subconsciously controlled by the Beast to free itself.

As they shook on the agreement, J-5 noticed that coldness of the Emperor's hands. As they leave, he told the rest of the party that the Emperor that they talked to might be a Simulacrum. Wanting to confirm their suspicion, the party returned to the Emperor's room, this time sneaking around to find his journal. Upon finding and reading it, the party found out that the Emperor knew about the 18 parts all along. Before they could delve any further, the Emperor appeared to stop them from leaving with the journal.
