Caution & Hubris

Last session, the party finally confronted one another regarding their secrets. Celeste explained her mission to hunt the cultists, while Zaryaan admitted he has no idea where his new powers originate. After agreeing to transparency moving forward, the party marched on. Deep in the Maze, they entered a towering chamber filled with debris. The moment the party stepped inside, a trap triggered—a magical "wash cycle" designed to repair broken objects. While the room began fixing the shattered items, it also began drowning the party in the process. Just as the group reached their limit, Pond and his adventurers arrived. Though Pond immediately ordered his team to assist, the party stubbornly refused his help. In the end, they managed to fish themselves out of the trap, surviving by their own strength—though the tension between the two groups has never been higher.
