Old Wounds

Last session, the party was given the option to slay Lady Hifuten, the ruler of Mt Deragona, or to slay Chatate, the Bronze Shield. The party deliberated for a while and decided that they do not have a horse in this race and decided to lave. The party returns to Kaliko to fetch their emberlions and head home.

However, upon seeing the villager, doubt begin to form in Ignis' head. Even Artyom believes that slaying Lady Hifuten is the obvious thing to do. In the end, the party agreed to slay lady Hifuten and talked with Chatate about their attack plan.

Afterwards, the party traveled to Blackmarshe to meet Dew and they explained their evidence. When Dew tried casting Speak with Dead of Fritz's body, it began to spout lies to every question. So, J-5 and Artyom showed an image of Christoph for Dew to turn into. Satisfied with the evidence, they part leaving Ignis with some conflicted feelings.

Finally, the party met with Magma now that a resolution to the war is in sight. They planned on a way to get the attention of the council and force them to listen to the party. And it will require a lot of fighting.
