Too Kind

Last session, the party continued their battle in Zasch's room defeating phantoms after phantoms until suddenly Kano's phantom appeared. This gave everyone a pause because, as far as the party knows, Kano is alive and well. After defeating the phantoms, the party was able to collect a statue to move on.

Next the party entered the room in front of the painting labeled Effort Lost. There, the party was instructed to extract energy from three beings within the room: an elven mage, an angel, a living storm and colony of living flesh. The party manage to see through the elven mage's trickery and extracted his energy. The party felt guilty but pushed onwards to extract the energies of the angel. The living storm was promised freedom in exchange for his energy. While the party pushed through some mental manipulation to extract energies from the living flesh.

Afterwards, the party tried their best and manages to free the creatures trapped in the room before they quickly exit the room with the statue they needed to progress. Next, only one room remains.
