The Blood Room

Last session, the party got into a fight with the cultist in a room of blood. They weren't much trouble for the party to defeat and they quickly rescued the girl that was to be sacrificed. The party figured out that she was not here alone and there are others with her in the nearby basement. Trying basement is protected by a blood pool that seemed to be endless. After some investigation, the party understood that the door requires a death sacrifice to be opened. Unwilling to sacrifice anyone, the party turned away to find a cultist to sacrifice. Upon returning to the blood room, the party saw three shades of the cult watching the door. Upon noticing the party, the three shades possessed the blood beneath their feat transforming them into blood wielding monsters. It was a difficult fight where almost everyone was eliminated but the party pulled through and hurried to the haunted corridor to rest.
