In a Sticky Situation

Last session, the party left the man in stasis and headed towards the city center. On their way, Astrid noticed something hanging in the trees above: her cart. The precious cart was lowered to the ground safely but her mule, Petunia was nowhere to be seen. When the wall is in sight, in between them is a battlefield with robed men fighting against armored ones and it would seem that they are all undead. The party skirted around the battlefield when they were suddenly the ground opened up and tried to swallow the party. The party tried to escape to the other side of the gate but the monster kept pulling the party in. With teamwork, the party managed to escape its clutches and continued onwards in the the next district: Cogsoot. Cogsoot's thick smog makes it hard to see far but Fontaine was able to notice an Atlas shrine a little ways away. However, the party ran an hid when they heard a creature approaching. When the creature left, the party headed towards the Atlas and left before any another roaming creatures could catch them
