Dreams

Last session, the party had just defeated some cultists and tried to get some well deserved rest. As they slumber, each of them awoke in a dream showing images of their past, present, future or a time that never was. Delilah was shown her time with her parents where her mother continuously berates for every thing she does on her own birthday. Nothing ever seem to satisfy her until Delilah showed love and stood up for herself. Jacque was shown sometime in the future where she returned to her old home and sees the crazed founder of such a place. Her rage took over and no love was given as he was slain in cold blood. Astrid was brought back to the night where the party had Timmy kept in a cage as he is attempting to do so. He begs and pleads and reasons with Astrid to let him go but no love was spared and Timmy was left in the cage to face his fate the next day. Finally, Bree was shown a world where a parents never died. They returned but scorned Bree's choice to become a cleric of Shepa, telling her that her path will only bring harm. However, Bree stood firm and showed love to her god despite their protests. The party woke up the next morning to see the fading spirit of a Shepa cleric named Rose. She grants the party with the tools to defeat the cultist and a message to deliver to person trapped beneath the temple. The party then explored the last unexplored room where they come face to face with a giant flesh tree that is surprisingly calm enough to greet the party with words rather than blades. Delilah and Jacque, however, immediately sprung into combat which cause the party to be trapped in the room with no way out except death.
