Voices of the Past

Last session, the party continued their exploration of the temple and moved into its basement. There, the party found a corridor that is untouched by the corruption around them. Other than the occasional feeling that someone is observing them, the place seems like a window to the past. Exploring further, they found a kitchen area where some cultists were preparing meal out of humanoid parts. The party stayed hidden and was able to see the cultist delivered the food to a flesh wall and also another room at the end of the chamber. Checking out the room, the party found a half-orc woman being prepared to be a sacrifice. The party uncharacteristically jumped in to save her.
