The Beginning of the End

Last session, we found out that the city of Kontecol was devestated by a disaster. A rain of flames rain down from above burning and destroying everything in the city. Most who survived are people who were underground during the disaster and that is where we are introduced to our party members. The serious soldier, Leon. The peppy student, Ada. The engineering brute, Ahmet. The aspiring singer, Danny. The jumpy forester, Briar. And The intriguing performer, Kaz. These people found each other on their way to the train station where they were stopped by a group of thugs transporting items. After trying to negotiate with the merchant, Ahmet took the initiative to allow the civillians to get onto the RUST Engines. The train left with almost 200 passengers on-board. After a short breather, the party realised that something is attacking the RUST Engine. Looking out, they see a group of weird monsters taking civillians from the train. When trying to attack them, they seem to be immune to their weapons. Their only option to run ahead and let go of the back carriage, sacrificing a large number of civillians.
