Tier 0 Class

Acotyles dabble in the arcane. Be it religion, occult or primal, an acolyte learns the fundamentals of magic. They will often dabble with magic, experimenting with them and also, most importantly, practice.

Learn the fundamental skills of a spellcaster.

This class has the following Class Traits.

Alternative Names. Hedge-Witch, Shrine Tender, Scholar's Assistant, Fortune Teller, Cult Initiate.
Favored Attributes. Whenever you level up this class, you can increase your Magic, Industry or Intrigue attribute by 1 up to 2.
Favored Trained Skills. Whenever you level up in this class, you will learn one Spells, Blueprints or Commands of your choice.

Condition: When investigating magical effects
Effect: You gain advantage on the check

Efficient Study

Tier 0 • Passive Skill

Spells are complicated to absorb and you have figured out a way to better learn spells.
Condition: Whenever you are learning a new spell
Effect: Replace a spell that you know with another spell of the same Tier

Scramble Away

Tier 0 • Active Skill

You need to position yourself to avoid interruption during casting.
Condition: When a creature enters a space within 1m of you
Cost: 1 Potential
Effect: Move up to your movement speed

Spell Identification

Tier 0 • Passive Skill

You have read enough about spells to know the more common ones that are used.
Condition: Whenever you see a spell of a tier lower than your Magic attribute being cast
Effect: You immediately know the spell and its function

Ritual of Conversion

Tier 0 • Active Skill

You perform a basic ritual to convert some of your personal energy into usable energy.
Effect: Gain the "Casting 0" status if you haven't already and increase the severity by 1.
